Kids Colouring in Competition

Road Safe NI invited primary school children in Northern Ireland (P1-P4) to participate in our road safety colouring in competition during lockdown in April 2020.  We wanted to offer a nice educational activity to keep your little treasures busy while they are off school during the Covid 19 pandemic.  There were prizes (Smyths Vouchers) for the best pictures.

*Road Safe NI Colouring in Competition for P1-P4 children*

We are delighted with the response to our recent road safety colouring competition, a total of 223 children from across Northern Ireland took part, which made our jobs very difficult in judging the competition  We have finally chosen four winners, one from each primary 1, 2, 3 & 4.

1st Prize – Barbara Klimek
2nd Prize – Samia Gole
3rd Prize (Joint) – Kylan Conway
3rd Prize – (Joint) Emilija Jakimaviciute

Well done to all of you. Each child received a voucher for Smyths Toys as a prize

Well done to all the children that put time and effort into their wonderful pictures and entering the competition. The standard of entries was excellent and we hope this activity helped the children to think about some key road safety messages as they got lost in their colouring in activity.

There were 9,737 casualties on NI roads last year...
