NI Primary School Road Safety Quiz

We have been running a Road Safety and General Knowledge Quiz for Primary 7 school children for over 20 years.

Online Entry is now open for the 2019 Quiz

Your school is invited to enter their local council heat of the NI Primary School Road Safety Quiz 2019, which is for 1 team of four  P7 pupils per school.  All heats take place in January and February and run from 10am to 11.30am, except the Belfast heat which is 7pm to 8.30pm.

This year’s quiz is once again kindly sponsored by accident management firm CRASH Services and supported by a number of partner agencies like local councils, PCSPs and emergency services. See full details below of dates and venues.

The table quiz covers both road safety and general knowledge questions.  This ensures that important road safety awareness is delivered in an interesting way.

The quiz will consist of 7 rounds of 8 questions plus an extra round on road signs.   Prizes are given to the top 3 teams plus everyone involved takes home a road safety certificate.  The quiz questions will be available after the heats are completed so that all pupils can take part in the quiz back in their classroom.

In addition, two teams from each heat will progress to the Northern Ireland Final which will take place at the NI Fire & Rescue Training Centre, Boucher Road, Belfast on Monday 4th March 2019 at 7pm. We are limited to 25 teams per heat and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you would like to register your school, please complete the below entry form and select your heat.
