Road Safe NI is the Road Safety Charity in Northern Ireland.  The Charity is staffed by volunteers and relies solely on fundraising, grants and sponsorship to fund a diverse range of road safety education and support programmes.  A lot of Road Safe NI volunteers have been affected by road traffic collisions and have lost a loved one in a crash and we are honoured that our volunteers continue to organise fundraising events in memory of their loved one which supports Road Safe NI to continue to develop vital road safety programmes, ultimately saving lives.

Cormac Lambe’s 100Km cycle to raise road safety funds

Road Safe NI are so proud of Cormac Lambe, the young 7 year old boy who recently completed a 100km cycle to fundraise for our Charity. Cormac raised a whooping £1,700 for Road Safe NI!

Cormac decided he would like to do a fundraiser (with the help from his family) for Road Safe NI because his best friends Leo & Reuben’s Daddy, John-Paul McKevitt was knocked down and killed on the road in 2014.

Leo & Reuben’s family are Road Safe NI volunteers and do phenomenal road safety work in their local area and across Northern Ireland.

Road Safe NI Committee were so touched by Cormac’s amazing fundraising efforts and were delighted to present him with a personalised card and gift to say thank you.  “Cormac, you are such an amazing and wonderful young man! We would also like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Cormac’s family and friends who supported Cormac to complete his 100km and thank you to everyone that donated to his fundraiser .
